Hollis Taylor grew up surrounded by people with a variety of impairments. Hollis’ father was blind and lived in a community for people living independently with disabilities. Hollis has an education in nursing and psychology with years of professional experience in nursing homes with a passion for providing activities. Hollis engages people face to face with a smile and simple words like “Let’s Dance.”

Hollis uses techniques and approaches from Teepa Snow -A Natural Approach to brain change, caregiver training. Hollis has a special touch with the severely cognitively impaired and non-responsive individuals.

Many individuals respond positively to Hollis’ approach and enjoy uplifted spirits when they dance!

  1. Our residents loved your program! Bright Hawk’s Hang music FILLED the 2nd floor dining room and people were very interested in the instrument that could create such a sound. It was great to see the residents’ faces light up in response to Hollis’ warmth and encouragement dancing with them. Thank you both, and enjoy your tour!
